National Civilian Independent Contractor Memorial

NCICM-Bronze-Placque-(2)The National Civilian Independent Contractor Memorial, Inc. was founded by Gerard Hennelly, a Blackwater Security alumnus who served overseas on the U.S. State Department’s Worldwide Personal Protective Services program. Intended to be a 501(c)(19) corporation, the NCICM was formed with the purpose of designing, creating, installing and maintaining a real physical memorial to our nation’s civilian contractors and the sacrifices they made in support of the United States of America.

An artistic rendering of the Memorial has been created and plans to acquire a site in Mount Vernon, Ohio are well under way. One day or less drive from 90% of the Nation’s population, and a 40 minute drive from an international airport make this a natural location to honor our fallen. There will also be bungalows for rent and a there is shooting range on site.

A national fundraising campaign is currently underway and we have enlisted the services of a professional marketing person to help get the word out. Please take a moment to check out our Facebook page by clicking on the following link: National Civilian Independent Contractor Memorial.
